Future Programme

The Vision

We believe the future of mental healthcare lies at the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern science. Our aspiration is to develop a professional training programme that equips therapists, counsellors, and healthcare workers with skills drawn from both traditions — creating practitioners who can serve diverse communities with cultural sensitivity and clinical rigour.

Proposed Training Topics

  • Buddhist Mindfulness as Clinical Tools — Exploring how centuries-old Buddhist mindfulness practices can be adapted and applied as evidence-informed interventions in clinical settings.
  • Cultural Competency for South Asian Communities in Europe — Understanding the unique mental health challenges faced by South Asian diaspora communities, including stigma, intergenerational trauma, and barriers to accessing care.
  • Holistic Patient Care Frameworks — Developing integrated care approaches that honour the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — drawing on Ayurvedic principles alongside Western psychology.

Where We Are Today

This programme is currently in its conceptual phase. We are exploring what this training could look like and are actively seeking partnerships with academic institutions and healthcare organisations who share our vision for culturally integrated mental health education.

If you represent a university, training body, or healthcare organisation and are interested in collaborating, we would love to hear from you.
